Texas holdem poker is a variation of seven card stud poker where players share the common cards called as “the board”. Texas hold em poker is generally played with two to ten players sitting on a single table.Holdem poker is played with what is known as dealer rotating, means that one player will act as a dealer for one hand, handling his dealer position to player to the left for other hand, when one hand is completed.
Now you got a dealer who shall deal cards to start the game but before cards are dealt, you have one more thing that is done before dealing of cards and is called as blinds. Blinds are of two types small blind and big blind, the player to the left of dealer puts the small blind, and the player to the left of small blind puts the big blind (double that of small blind).The person dealing the card deals to the left of the player with the dealer first rotating clockwise around the table. Each player is given one card at first time until he has two cards which are called as hole cards.
A Texas holdem poker game consists minimum of one or maximum of four betting rounds. A hand comes to end when all players but one have folded, and the final or fourth betting round completes with multiple players are still in the hand. At that situation the players enter into the showdown. And at the showdown the player with the best hand according to the poker hand rankings wins the pot or luckily the player who is still in the hand when all others have folded.
