| Scenes like flood, car crash, plane crash, fire and the like seen in movies are really scary, right? But the worst part is, it doesnt only happen on movies. We can experience things like these at some point in our lives.
Whenever these things occur, two things can be done; to stay alive and watch for help to come. In the event of fire, people can obviously see what is happening and can act on to help the victims of the event. Now, what if the actual incident is not noticeable to anyone? What could be a way to get other people and the authoritys attention in these cases? That's where flares come in.
You might have seen flares or have kept one in your hand before. You can basically find them in safety kits within ships that are navigating through seas, cars that are on property, and in airports exactly where planes land. What you have to remember would be that the number one purpose of a flare when you see the first is for safety and distress signs. If you notice a flare becoming fired up, it could mean a lot of things. In land, if you see road flares, it might be a warning that an accident befell and help is needed.
There might be a potential danger or occurring hazard in the road. It could be a sapling that has fallen and should be avoided by drivers. It could be a car accident and requires immediate medical attention. In sea, it could mean there are problems that a ship is experiencing and needs help or it could be a ship thats sinking and needs rescue. Flares are really a great help to anybody that is in need.
Whatever may be the use of the actual flare whether, in land, sea or air, to all who are able to see it - by no means take it for granted and conscious the authorities associated with what you have seen. It may be just a car malfunction in the road that requires help or it could be something bigger that could cost peoples lives. |
